Diagram types overview
vizzy parses a practical subset of Mermaid, plus a native architecture diagram. Pick the type that fits what you are explaining:
- Sequence: who talks to whom, and what they exchange.
- Flowchart: control and branching logic.
- Architecture: the static service map and its payloads.
- Database Schema: tables, columns, keys, and relationships.
- Class & State: object models and state machines.
- Gantt: a project schedule with tasks, durations, and dependencies.
- Timeline: events along a history, grouped into eras.
- User journey: the steps in an experience, scored by how each one feels.
- Data visualisation: Charts (bar and line), a Pie chart, a Quadrant chart for prioritisation grids, a Treemap for proportional-area breakdowns, or a Data table from Markdown.
- Mind map / concept map: a mind map for a brainstorm, or a concept map for a domain model.
- Git graph: a branching and merging commit history.
- Diff: a unified git diff rendered as per-file change cards.
Stick to the forms shown on each page. Unknown lines are ignored, never fatal, so a partial diagram still renders.
