vizzy workspaces

A workspace is a named set of folders and files that one window watches. Each Vizzy window is bound to its own workspace. For example, a “Frontend” window can watch a couple of folders while a separate “Infra” window watches others, each with its own sidebar.

The launcher

When no workspace window is open, Vizzy shows a launcher: a window listing your workspaces. Open a workspace to get a full document window with its sidebar.

Creating and switching workspaces

• File ▸ New Workspace opens a fresh workspace in its own window and asks which folder it should watch. Cancel the picker to start empty and add folders later.
• Add the folders or individual files you want that window to watch. Vizzy scans them recursively for *.vizzy.md files (no vizzy/ folder or git repo required) and lists what it finds in the sidebar. Folders that are git repos show their branch.
• Each workspace remembers its own folders and display preferences, such as whether Markdown files are shown and which items are pinned, so windows stay independent.
